Air Handlers

The air handler is an indoor unit that utilizes a heat pump or cooling coil and air blower. An air handler's job is to circulate conditioned air through out your home.

Air HandlerThe air handler operates entirely on electricity. An efficient air handler contributes greatly to the efficiency of your outdoor unit which doesn't have to work as hard to achieve the desired temperature.

When paired with an air conditioner, an air handler circulates cool air. When matched with a heat pump, it circulates cool air in summer and warm air in winter.

Available with either single or variable speed motors, Trane air handlers make a significant contribution to the overall efficiency of your system. That's because the more efficient your air handler is, the less work your outdoor unit has to do to make your home comfortable.
